Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: July 24, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Keepsake Chrome extension, the Keepsake web app at app.keepsaketab.com, and keepsaketab.com (together, "Keepsake," "we," "us"). By creating an account or installing the extension, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Keepsake is a bookmarking and page-capture tool: you save, tag, search, highlight, and optionally use AI to understand pages you visit, synced to your account across the extension and web app.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Keepsake. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Plans and billing

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We don't provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law — the annual trial exists precisely so you can decide before you're charged.

We may change our prices; if we do, we'll give existing subscribers notice before the change applies to their next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Keepsake to store or generate unlawful content, infringe others' rights, attempt to bypass plan limits or security controls, or abuse the AI features (for example, automated bulk requests designed to exceed fair use). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content

You own what you save to Keepsake. You grant us the license needed to store, process, back up, and display it back to you in order to provide the service — including sending relevant text to an AI provider when you request an AI feature, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership of your content and don't use it to train AI models.

6. AI features

AI-generated summaries, tags, and responses may be inaccurate or incomplete. They're provided to help, not as a substitute for your own judgment — review anything important before relying on it.

7. Termination

You can stop using Keepsake and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, and we'll try to give notice unless the situation requires immediate action (for example, security or legal reasons).

8. Disclaimers

Keepsake is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saved content will never be lost — export your library periodically if it's important to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keepsake isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Governing law

[Owner to confirm: governing law and jurisdiction]

11. Changes to these terms

We'll update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and post material changes here.
